Sleep Sustainably
Our products are lovingly made in California with ethical working conditions, a transparent supply chain and sustainably sourced fabric. We believe in carefully crafted apparel that’s made to last.
Our fabric vendors are committed to environmentally friendly practices and use non-toxic chemicals in production. We are passionate about raising environmental awareness and improving the sustainability of the apparel supply chain.
We do not claim to be perfect but are striving to make a change in whatever small way possible. We will continue to evaluate and improve the sustainability of our business as we learn and grow.
Bamboo Fabric
The way in which people produce and consume clothes has an impact on the environment and we are responsible for making better choices when possible.
Lola Long sleepwear fabric is made from 67% bamboo rayon. Bamboo is a fast growing crop that’s quickly renewable and it requires very little water compared to cotton. The plants need no fertiliser or pesticides and it’s estimated that bamboo releases up to 35% more oxygen into the atmosphere than other trees of a similar size. We also only source fabric from ethical vendors who’s production processes are certified as non-toxic.
Textiles made from bamboo have excellent moisture wicking qualities, are breathable and soft against the skin which makes them perfect for sleepwear.
Make a Difference
Packaging and the environmental impact of shipping should be considered whenever we buy a product online. Your order will be mindfully packaged using eco-friendly materials. We use 100% recycled plastic packaging made from post-consumer waste because we believe it makes sense to use the plastic that’s already here on our planet instead of producing more and more. Our shipping labels are made from recycled material and adhesives that do not interfere with the recycling process.
Unlike many brands, we don’t use excess hang-tags or stickers and our labels are made from biodegradable cotton instead of more commonly used polyester.
